Published 2026-08-17

Oakland, CA · Project

It is the mission of First Place for Youth to support youth in their transition from foster care to successful adulthood. Friedman Brueggemeyer, in conjunction with Sam Davis Architects, converted a dilapidated storefront corner of downtown Oakland into a vibrant counseling and gathering center for the young adult clientele of this thriving and caring non-profit organization.
